Majestic Wash Tag Code Question

I just picked up a TBTC jersey with a wash tag code of:

62TB
0443

It is a Throwback so I assume that is what the TB represents. I am familiar with some of the Majestic tagging (normal pro codes vs. retail codes) but had not seen this before. Any insights?

The TB code is one I've seen in MLB Turn Back the Clock jerseys made by Majestic at least back to 2008. It may well be a couple of years earlier that this code was assigned. The number is based on the year the TBTC uniform is replicating. (62=1962).

The 62TB has no reference to the year it is replicating.

I just checked 2 of the TBTC jerseys I have, one is rpelicating the 1989 Mariners and the other is 1939 Seattle Rainiers. Both of them have the 62TB.

My bad...I don't know where I came up with that.:eek::eek::eek: Correctly, I believe the "62" is shorthand for the "0062" that standard Majestic jerseys (not cool base) would use.:o
