I just heard briefly about this, but two prostitutes stole the ring and his Yankees team issued cell phone right?

Just two thoughts:

1) I guess you can't trust anyone these days; and,

2) I guess staying at a Holiday Inn Express doesn't make you any smarter after-all.

What it probably does to his wife, and his marriage, is a lot more damaging than losing a ring.

A married man cheats on his wife with a couple of hookers and gets a prized possession stolen.....this is a little thing that I like to call Karma. Somewhere a pawn shop will have a nice addition to the jewelry department.

Why did he get a ring anyway? He did nothing for the big league club. Rings should be limited to those who earned them on the field, the owner, the big league coaching staff and the top suits. How did some minor league coach contribute to the title?
