What do you think about this jersey?

I have 4 question marks.

1. The Russell tag is from 2000.

2. The name on the back is sewn a little bit too low.

3. The number on the back is sewn too high.

4. The MLB logo is located too left.

The Getty images you show are from different jerseys than the one for sale. The first image is of a jersey from 2002 and the other image is from 2001 but worn post September 11th.

Thumbs down...numeric font for the year strip tag is not right.

price is your number one clue beyond everything else the words to live by in this hobby are if a deal sounds to good to be true it probably is. an ichiro rookie year home jersey for two grand would be the deal of the century. Ichiro has a large following in the Pacific Rim and those collectors bid very rabidly for his stuff which results in extremely high prices. one that ami sold last year that was determined to be a fake on here sold for more than the one in question even. an ichiro full throwback uniform worn in one game sold for 25 grand on mlb.com a couple of years ago. one would be hard pressed to get a real one from 2001 for under five grand and that is probably even too low of an estimate.

Thank you, trsent, for your correction about the photos I posted.

Here are pre-911 images from the 2001 season.

I agree on price, to good to be true!......a rookie Ichiro bat with a cracked handle just sold on Grey Flannel auctions for $17,365.20
