1995 Houston BPs should have an arched NOB sewn on a plate. Most of the BPs from this era that are in circulation have had the NOB removed.

1995 Astros BP jerseys were made by Majestic and were a 2-button pullover. Nameplates on the back were three color white on navy on gold, attached to a mesh navy nameplate, which was sewn to the jersey in an arch. The 1995 jerseys had the Astrodome the Original 30th Anniversary Patch (1965-1995).

In 1994, the jerseys were the same as above except they had the standard Astrodome the Original Patch plus the 125th Anniversary Patch on the opposite sleeve.

In 1996, the jerseys reverted back to the standard Astrodome the Original Patch.

In 1997-1999, the style changed completely, with a gold trim on the neck and sleeves and no patches.

Dave is correct - most 1994-1996 BPs were stripped of the names and reused in the Minors or even year to year. Most 1994 BPs were stripped of the 125th Anniversary patch for reuse.

A few key players survived. I know for a fact that a handful (but not all) of Biggio 7, Bagwell 5, Caminiti 11, Finley 12, and Gonzalez 26 were saved for sale to Hartel Sports.

I have seen a lot of these and typically don't handle them as most are restored. If you have any other questions on Astros jerseys from 1962 to Current, please let me know!

I should have noted that. In 1996 or so, the Hartels made a second purchase of jerseys from the Astros. They received a lot of nameless jerseys.

Also, Ball 4 Sports (which including Lampson and others) bought a lot of 1995-1998 Astros jerseys sometime in 1999 or so.

The Astros still have 1999 through 2009 jerseys on hand.
