Nice Giambi collection until I saw the 2000 A's game used bat inscribed 2000 MVP.
Thats the year that Giambi stole the MVP away from Frank Thomas by
going crazy at the end of the year.

My Thomas collection includes 10 jerseys, 3 hr balls, 4 or 5 pairs of batting gloves, 2 pair of pants, 1 belt, 8 pairs of wristbands, 2 1/2 pair of cleats, 4 locker nameplates, 3 game used hats, 1 glove with 1 on the way, 3 game used baseballs from his milestone games, and about 12 bats (2 are HR bats).

I'm sure I speak for Wade as well as myself when I say thanks for the kind words.They mean a lot when they come from someone with a LEGENDARY player collection like your Kingman one.I often think how hard it is to find some of the Giambi pieces I want,and then realize how easy I have it with a current player and all the avenues available to find his gear.Your stuff though..I gotta tell you,I was awestruck at some of those early 70's Kong Giants jerseys you've got there and then to think of the hunt for some of them..wow.Between the team recycling those jerseys back then and players getting maybe 2 of each shirt at best,it had to take forever to find most of them.But I like to think its a labor of love for most of us that makes it that much sweeter when we get something we've been searching for.

This is my brothers favorite hockey player collection of "TROY RIDDLE".My brother has followed his career since troy's high school hockey days and then his college days at the uf of minnesota as a gophers and then now onto his long minor league.As troy has traveld the world playing hockey on many teams.The riddle me this tour includes-philadelphia,des moines,worchester,peoria,trenton,alaska,austria,ho uston,texas wildcatters,basel switzerland and now tulsa with his brother jake on the team.My brother has a web site dedicated to troy.And has some game used item but a a replica jersey from every tema troy has played on including his high school jersey.As far as game used items.He has his game used stick from troy's 2001-2002 season as a gopher and it was used during thier national championship season and the game itself.A game used stick as a houston aeros.That he recieved on ice after the game.As i made a trip for the whole family to go see troy play in iowa.And it was the first time my brother got see troy play as a pro.And troy handed him the stick after the game.Also in the collection is a game used houston helmet.His game used jersey from austria.A game used houston jersey.And a peoria game used jersey,which was troy's first pro jersey he ever wore.And a philadelphia jersey in which troy only played 3 games for them.So thats also they only jersey he wore for that team.He also has 100's of signed items and odd ball items like that.He is for sure his #1 fan.

In total, my Jeremy Accardo collection contains 10 jerseys and a locker name plate. I wish I could add more variety, like a hat, bat, cleats, or anything else really, but I've never been able to find anything of the sorts.

I have been re-organizing my Red Sox collection into "lockers" of each player. Here is my first one for Youkilis, which I put in my own walk-in closet instead of my study. I thought it was cool there until my wife called it a "stalkker-like shrine." Regardless, I am working on Ortiz and Manny next. Have plenty of stuff, but no good organization yet.

In any case, the Youk locker includes a GU jersey photomatched to his only career grand slam in '08, his GU hat, bat, his road pants with huge team repairs, plus a signed ball my son got from him and a GU 2007 World Series ball. All items are Steiner and MLB holo'ed except my son's ball.

Well, I'm sure that Majestic didnt do the customizing. Rather, when Milledge changed numbers, the Nats made the change in-house by stripping off the 44 and applying the 85. But hey, if he wore it.....its game worn.

I have a similar thing in 2005 with Ryan Zimmerman having 2 Wil Cordero jerseys re-named as they were both #25 in 2005!

I think this question bears further research. While we have seen the other issues with the Giants, etc, the jerseys where Majestic forgot a letter in Nationals were not ridiculed, they were practically expected. I'd feel awful as a fan, how disrespected my team was. While Lastings isn't Pujols, that number change is like 80's, cheap Expos garbage versus a Pro team in 2009. On the upside, kudos for finding an actual dead on balls accurate photomatch. For you, a player collector with real passion, I was thrilled to see it as a piece in your collection. But Milledge isn't some 20 year old nobody that gets hand me downs. Hasn't he earned the right to get a fresh shirt if he changes numbers? FOr a team that can't even get their surname right, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I realize Washington isn't the Yankees but jerseys aren't that expensive. It's like watching the Charlestown Chiefs in "Slapshot" How can a pro team be treated like a Single A non-affiliated team so often? I get the feeling that one day they will be competitive, make the World Series and wear factory seconds. On the upside, photo-matching a "Zimbermon" Fashingmon Naphinals jersey can't be that hard right?

But lets take this into account: Milledge gave up #44 after Spring Training had started. Thus, the Nats had to quickly throw on a #85 onto his jersey while Dunn got #44. It was a change that was needed immediately so I can see why the Nats hurried. I'm sure the Nats called Majestic and had another set of Home jerseys ordered for Milledge. Based on this I was looking at pics from the regular season opener and Milledge was wearing a defferent jersey. So he definetly gets a new jersey....they just might not have had one available.

For LM85, you can probably take comfort in knowing that the jersey you have was the first jersey Milledge wore after the number switch until the new sets of jerseys came in.

Milledge gave up his number on 2/19/09. ST started about a week prior so there was about a week overlap

With almost all players wearing the coolbase jerseys, the year tags are a hit or miss on the jerseys as they are added by the team and sewn over the wash tag. Like this Milledge, there are some that don't have it, and some that do.

I have another team mystery. Shairon Martis went 5-0 in his first 5 starts in 2009 and then had issues. He was sent down to AAA. All of his #39 jerseys were replaced and if he were to be called back up they had #38 jerseys ready for him. Here's the strange thing. A few of the jerseys look used. The #3 looks used and puckered and the #8 is brand new. Unlike the Milledge jersey I sold where you could clearly see the number change, I can't see it on these jerseys.

Technically yes but the home and road jerseys are "customized" to the exact details (ie patches and black arm bands and NO Russell or Majestic manufacturers logo on the sleeves)

In Thomas's 18 year MLB career he hit 3 HRs in one game only twice in his career, once in 1996 and again in 2007. Ironically, 5 of those 6 home runs came off of knuckleballer Tim Wakefield! Who knows where the 96 jersey is and if it is even associated to that 3 HR game. This 2007 jersey is MLB authenticated to Sept 17th when Thomas hit 3 HRs (510, 511, and 512) in one game. I've had this jersey on my radar for years now, but never pulled the trigger. This jersey was purchased directly from the Blue Jays and arguably represents one of the last high points in Thomas's great career in his final full season of professional baseball. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Spring training 2007. First Rockies Coolflo helmet, but before they switched to the purple/black two tone. They had a metallic(?) black/black two tone during spring training.

I just received the second shipment of Tulowitzki items for my collection this month, and even though I still have a couple items that i have my eye on, I thought that I should photograph the collection as it is, and update it here.

This has been the biggest single month I have ever had, but it's just that all of the items I had been saving for happened to be this month.

I will start with the jerseys. I have four Colorado Rockies jersey (about to purchase one more). The black jersey is from his rookie season in 2007; the white alternate, as well as the gray jersey on the left, is from 2009; and the second gray jersey with the Keli McGregor memorial patch is from 2010.

Next are the cleats and batting gloves. I have one pair of cleats, these were either from while he was on Team USA or while he was in the Minors, as it was when he wore #5. I just picked up these batting gloves, and received them today; they were used during the 2010 season.

Batting Helmets and hats: I have there batting helmets as well as three hats. Two of the batting helmets as well as two of the hats I received this month. One batting helmet is from spring training in 2007 (which is the last time Tulowitzki has worn #14). The other two helmets are from 2010.

I have a road hat from 2010, a batting practice hat from 2007, as well as a home hat from 2006. The 2010 hat has "2low" written inside it; the BP hat is signed on the bill; the 2006 hat has "14" written inside (and may very well be his MLB debut hat!).

I'm not going to lie, once I heard Accardo signed with the Orioles, I came on here to see what they're policy was on selling game used equipment. I have faith (maybe blind faith from a huge fan...) that he'll get back into form, but I have confidence he'll be a solid addition to the O's bullpen, and I look forward to adding some of his Baltimore equipment to my collection!.

My Canseco collection. All the game used bats are actually HR bats. his 400th, 412th, and 413th. Also a HR bat from ST 2002 witht the Expos. Also the bat he used in the HR Derby on Pros vs Joes. The other two are bats that Ozzie and Jose signed to their dad that I acquired from their sister. I am in the process of giving them back to Jose and Ozzie since their dad died earlier this week.
