1983-1986 NY Mets Darryl Strawberry game used broken bat, absolutely plastered with use...
- Completely plastered with blue and black ball marks, ink transfers, rack marks and seam marks all over the barrel.
- Tar and custom tape job on the handle.
- Beautiful perfect vintage autograph on barrel in blue.
- #18 on end of the barrel.
- Bat was broken in two pieces during game play; knob is missing.
This bat dates back to the Mets Championship era and may have been used in the historic year of 1986. I don't think I have ever seen a Strawberry bat with more use before. I'd keep it myself but I am not a collector of broken bats.
