I’ve sent Historic auctions 4 emails and all of them have gone unanswered. They are not the only game in town and as such, they have to earn my business. The way I see it, I’ll give them the same thing they’ve given me, nothing.

With all the information provided in the 10+ topics in the Current Auctions section, would it really matter if they responded?

I sent Historic an email SEVERAL days ago asking 3 questions about the Chris Carpenter GU bat.
(1) is the barrel cupped?
(2) is the bat cracked or uncracked?
(3) does the bat have any knob or barrel info? #, size, ect?

I finally received the email copy below today (the day the auction ends)

Response from Whitney of Historic Auctions To:jason howellFrom:WhitneyItem:Chris Carpenter 2005 Game Used Bat (31994 (http://www.historicauctions.com/index.cfm?&fuseaction=search.List&AuctionID=31994))Subject:Question about the item
Q: hello. i have 3 questions. (1) does this bat have a cupped barrel end? (2) does this bat have any # or info on the knob or barrel end? (3) i assume this bat is not cracked? Also please send me your catalog if you have one. thanks jason

The bat is not cupped at the "top"??? what about my other 2 questions?
Pathetic. and some of their top bids so far show it. these people need to gain some knowledge about the business and also get some PR lessons.
