Eddie Mathews 65-68 HB $1595
Brooks Robinson 65-72 HB $825
Pete Rose 65-72 HB $1495
Duke Snider 60-64 HB $1995

Ryne Sandberg 88 Adirondack $395
Mike Schmidt 1985 Unused Adirondack $395
Robin Yount HB 77-79 $725

Barry Bonds HB 93-97 $550
Mark McGwire 1995 Rawling Adirondack $1795

Sammy Sosa 1998 Adirondack $1695
Sammy Sosa 1998 Adirondack $1595
Mo Vaugh 1997 Adirondack $245

For the price of one 1998 Sosa bat you could have gotten a rookie Bench and HB Brooks Robinson.

A 1995 MAC exceeded the asking price for the HB Rose.

I'll take three each of the Bench and Sandberg please :D

Makes you wonder, what are the steals in today's market, or do they even exist?

While I am surprised by the wide range of price differences from 11 years ago, it always seem the new hot stuff is higher priced than the classic stuff.

i agree. i mean, is a pujols bat really worth thousands of dollars? he is still playing! i would hate to see him pop + for juice.

Actually, the way the hobby is now with access to ordering records, I wonder how many of those are actually team index bats and not even worth the asking price back then?

Also, do you think any Mo Vaughn bat would bring $245 today (forget the Sosa bat prices)?
