Jared Allen value?

Anyone have an idea on what a rookie jersey would be valued? I know can vary, but ballpark would be pretty helpful. Thanks!

His Vikings jerseys went for around 2K on JO Sports. Your only problem is, his rookie year wasn't with the Vikes. He's a well known name, but chances are if you're not a Vikings fan(like me lol) you really hate this guy. He really is obnoxious to watch with his lame sack dance. But all that aside he's probably worth $1700-$2000 to Vikes fans.($5 to us Bears fans who need a rag to wipe the hood of our car. lol) He sold out pretty quick on JO.

Thanks! I may pull the trigger. It is about $700 and wasn't sure if that was a decent price. I am not a fan but thought it could fund other purchases and if not, at least look good in the collection.

At the Grey Flannel auction a Jared Allen 2009 Vikings jersey consigned by JO Sports went for $1,200.

$700 ? That sounds like a great price. The two things that fuel me are simple.
1.)Who am I buying this from?
2.)Is this thing wrecked ? Does it show significant use ?

If you're getting it from a reputable buyer, that's a great price. Especially if you can photo match it .

Very reputable! I will let everyone know if I decide to pull the trigger. But the input definitely helps! I don't do much high-end items but this sounded like a decent deal that I could at least maybe make a few dollars to keep my low-end collection fueled for awhile!

You're thinking of flipping it ? I'd say with the economy and all you'd have your work cut out for you. But the Vikings are probably the hottest thing in collecting right now with Favre and Peterson. That only fuels demand for the other players.

I just picked up a Jared Allen game jersey from The Chiefs pro shop online. It ran me $700 but is pretty beat up and came with a COA from the Chiefs. They listed a bunch Of AFL Issued jerseys from this year, most under $350(including a Vrabel). Was stoked to get the Allen jersey and will post pics in the NFL items post this weekend.
