Any guesses what this one will top out at? Good photomatch. Easy to locate the throwback with the pink patch.

I'll guess $13000.00

yea saw this the other day.. actually bidded on it and had it for about 2mins.. LOL... not that I knew I was going to win it with only a couple days into it :p
I could bid 10k and easily lose in about 5mins to someone!

Nah, if the last one went for $16k, I think this will be more. Closer to $20k IMO. Monday nighter vs. Packers.. easy pickins for those with the deep pockets :)

I'm gonna say $17-18K. Anyone have an idea of a fun wager we could do to the person that gets closest?

Being that it was used against the pack and appears to have more use and is more easily identifiable thean the last one, I will say 20 grand.

Final Hammer Price - $14760.04 (http://www.nflauction.nfl.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/BidHistory?aunbr=111937710&wl=65664914)

Its $1760.04 more than I guessed but I figured with the obvious photomatch and the division clinched it would have commanded a better price.

But non the less, a steep price for 1 mans jersey and I doubt it will ever reach that price again should it ever return to the market.

This is less than most people thought...Do you think this is because people don't think Favre and the Vikings are invinciable anymore?? Or do you think the 3-4 big paying Favre collectors already have a Vikings gamer, and the dropoff to the next willing buyer keeps going down and down?

The novelty has died there have been alot of Favres on the market from this year and the market is adjusting accordingly. He has worn over 30 jerseys this year so far these are not rare items by any streach and in 20 years assuming the Vikes don't win it all this year or next (if he comes back) people are going to remember him as a Packer and his time with the Vikes will be remembered as a pit stop on the road to Canton. Today do people think of Rice as a Raider? Emmitt as a Cardinal? John Riggins as a Jet? No they are remembered as a 49er, Cowboy and skin, respectively. It will be the same thing with Brett.

Im surprised because of the importance of the game. Being the first QB to beat every team in that jersey. Its Canton worthy.

Perfectly stated!

I though would've thought today's "deep pocket" people would have up'ed the price more since it is probably (and will be) the most significant Favre jersey of the 2009 season since it was against his old Packers and a worldwide MNF audience/exposure game.
Unless of course he does make it and win the SB, the that will be the most wanted Favre jersey ever.
