Not sure how close the prices are either... Show me a nice Boggs bat for $550 and I know a dozen buyers.

I sometimes where they come up with these prices. For example, $6,500 for Musial. I've sold three great Musial bats the past couple of years and $4,500 was the most I could get. I have a nice, signed late '50s AD Musial on my site right now that has more LOAs than any bat I've ever seen and I've had no action at $3,500. Unless a Musial is very old or was used for a significant event, $6,500 isn't close to realistic.
