Manny Acta was hired as manager by the Indians. He got a 3 year deal. Good move for them both.:D

Good hire....it will be nice to have some new blood in the organization. Hopefully he will help in the rebuilding.

I'm not all that familiar with the Nationals, or Acta. I'm sure he's a great guy, but a look at his managerial record shows that he had a young, not-very-talented team. What did he do with them? He made them worse. (I'm just going on winning percentage here, which went down all 3 years.)

So now he's in charge of a young, not-very-talented team, and everybody thinks this is a good move?? I must be missing something. If we are going to hire a re-tread, why not one that at least has had some success?
