It looks like Barry might not be making the all star team. He certainly does not have the numbers to make it as a reserve at this point. Do you think that Pujols might win at first base? :D

It is interesting that in the AL outfield that Matsui, and Sheffield are in the top six since neither has played in the past three or four weeks. Even Damon is not exactly lighting it up and he is set to start as of now. In the NL outfield Griffey missed all but the past few weeks and he is sitting in fourth. As always, this is a big popularity contest. I have not looked closely, but how does ARod compare to Chavez and other 3rd baseman since he was off to a slow start this year?

Tejada is outhomering him badly, outslugging him badly and everything else is comparable. jeter does have a better OBP but that is to be expected as Miguel either hits it or strikes out.
