Hey guys,

I was so excited with my most recent acquisition, I had to share it with everyone. I purchased the cleats from M.D. Sports Connection who acquired the cleats from CEI Sports.

The cleats show a decent about of use, they look better in person than in the photographs. I searched through every image of Chad that Getty has to offer and have matched the cleats to two games during the 2006 season.

Here they are...

From as far as I can tell, the style of cleats match the ones Chad wore in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers...

And against the Colts during Week 15 on Monday Night Football...

Worthy of note is the fact that Chad wore 3 different pairs of cleats during that Monday Night game. He had custom cleats made but the NFL informed him that he could not wear them before the game started. Here are the cleats he couldn't wear...

Getty shows Chad wearing these banned cleats before the game started, a pair of plain black Reebok cleats, and the same style of cleats that I own.

I am inclined to believe that the cleats I purchased were worn during the Monday Night game because they have remnants of blue paint on the bottom of the autographed cleat and no grass stains (the RCA Dome had artofficial turf).

Within the tounge of both cleats, there are tags that say "Custom Made for Golden Child". There is also an imprint that reads "Made in Dade" on the bottom of the inside of both cleats. I can put up some pics of both parts if anyone is interested.

I did some research and learned that Chad grew up in Dade-County Florida. He might still live there but I do not know for certain.

The one odd thing I noticed is that the inner-fabric of both cleats is different. The cleats are the same size and show an equal amount of wear so I don't think that they are two cleats from seperate games. Perhaps Chad had them customized for personal comfort.

If anyone has any thoughts to share, please feel free to do so because I'd love to hear everyone's opinions.

Thanks guys :)
