Marucci Bat Question [Archive]

I have to Lastings Milledge Marucci bats one from 07 and the other from 08. He is known for using the KA29 pro model bat. The bat from 07 however is a LM44. Now, my question is did Marucci ever make a LM44 or is this a bat just for him after his initials and number? Thanks

LM44 is made for Milledge.

Typically player initials plus there numbers are Marucci model bats.

DW5 David Wright
JR7 Jose Reyes
CB15 Carlos Beltran
RH6 Ryan Howard
CU26 Chase Utley

etc..

Then what's KA29? Is it anything about a player or is it simply nothing?

You know that's a good question.

MM20 is another model I see and can't map it to a player.

you know thats also interesting. I recently got a Ryan Doumit bat from this season that is model JG25-M. Wonder what this is? On the knob of the bat is has his number 41 and the date it was made 6/14/09
