Paint Pen Removal from bats...

I just received several bats and some of the autographed have been damaged. What is it that you use to remove either silver or gold sharpie from black bats? I've seen this information before and I can recall the material that was used.

I used baby oil and some Q-tips on a silver sharpie-black bat and it came off nicely. Just work it in slowly and don't rub real hard as you may remove the paint from the bat.
