Lawrence Taylor 1983-84 jersey on EBay...

I noticed this today and at first glance, it looked like a terrific jersey. However, after browsing hundreds of photos of LT and the Giants from that time period, I have yet to find a style match. Of particular concern to me is the neck, as well as the lack of spandex-like material on the sides. Below is the EBay listing. According to the MEARS LOA, it matches the style shown on LT's 1984 Topps card, which pictures him in a white jersey (the jersey on EBay is blue). MEARS graded the jersey an A8, but with all the errors that have been pointed out by forum members recently, I am more than a little skeptical. Am I missing something here??...

I am certainly not a Giants expert but I too think the neck/collar is off. I believe the neck/collar should cross-over rather than just meet up.
