Is it me or does it Seem like these went for a really good price. Both come with LOA's from MEARS and that's $200 a peice just to be evaluated.

So for those of us that don't know alot about baseball jerseys, what exactly does that mean? Thank u

They're both received A5 grades. Nothing wrong with the A5 I mean an A10 would be nice but your not going to find one of those for under $500

For me, A5 means the jersey and the player were likely never even in the same room at the same time.

Curious to note that both jerseys came with a Indians Team COA. However, both received the A5 from Mears. From trying to read the Mears letters, it appears that they did not provide the customary points for the team LOA because the Indian's LOAs are too vague.

I backed away from the Thome because of a few reasons. First, Jim never wore a size 50 in 2002. He wore a 52. Also, he almost always has an alteration, or two. Such as +1" sleeve. Or tail. If I'm not mistaken, the seller has an insider at Mears. I would say the jersey was an issued jersey. Not game used.....Just my thoughts.:D
