I just received this Louisville Slugger in the mail today and a few questions came to me that I thought could be answered in here. It was advertised as a 1933 though after looking online I see that the "Bone rubbed" ID was only used in 1932. Is this correct? Does the "H" on the knob signify anything at the factory or was this likely added by whoever used it (my guess)? This was posted in the description : This original game used baseball bat originates from the Louisville Slugger bat archive find of the early 1990's. This incredible collection consists of over 800 bats including approximately 700 minor league bats as well as numerous major league and semi-pro players. Each bat was sent by the player directly to Louisville Slugger and was stored in their archives. Every major league team is represented in this collection. Can anyone provide me with more info or alink to read about this find? What are the chances that this was a used bat from my beloved Clemson Tigers. I checked and found no other player named Clemson to play in the majors/minors. I really have no way of knowing and probably will never know for sure, but for the price, I had to take a chance. Thanks in advance for your help.
