Was I seeing things tonight or does Choo for the Indians wear a double flap batting helmet? Does any one else in the majors do this? I can't even remember the last time I saw one outside of the minors. I do remember seeing a switch-hitter occassionally grabbing the wrong one flap helmet and stepping up to the plate with it the wrong side.

Choo does wear a double flap. Shane Victorino does too. There are occasional times where you will see Major Leaguers pulling to double flap. I personally wouldn't like it.

Thats pretty funny you mentioned that I noticed the exact same thing. I have seen it before but it is rare to see a Major Leaguer do it.
I was watching the Yankeees Indians game the other night and I saw Choo get up to bat and I said to him "Hey he's wearing a double flap helmet"

Funny you brought that up.

true, he might be on something... but there are those freaks out there that are just gifted. (Lebron James) I really hope he isn't on anything... he could be like the lebron of baseball....

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll keep a list and watch. Can't believe I missed seeing Punto wear one.
