Take a look at the link below. The seller has listed an obvious store bought Nellie Fox bat as game used from 1962. The sad part is someone has bid $149 on the bat that usually sells for $10 to $20. I told the seller he was selling a store bought bat and his reply was, "you sure know a lot". The guy obviously know he's screwing someone.

I told him it was obviously a store model bat, foil stamps, intials on knob..etc etc. Also told him I felt bad that someone had dropped $150 on it already.

His response.....

"My brother who was a bat boy in the 60's obtained this bat from Nelson Fox at Comiskey park after his batting pratice. He Told him not to put it back in the rack and to take it home.Who ever buys this has a full Money back return privilege.I'm not fluent on sport memorabilia items. But I do know he received this from Fox himself.HE came home with bat's and ball's from the games all the time,That's how batboys got paid...."

Look at his Mickey Mantle signed bat.

He claims he had this signed in person by Mantle.

A plain and stupid lie.

I guess that Mickey forgot to spell his name correctly.

He signed it MICKY...with no E

These people should be removed from EBAY. That is just horrible.

Well, I guess someone referred the seller to this site.

He has ended both auctions.
