USA Baseball Jersey

This seller a quite a few of these USA jersey on E-Bay. Is there anyway to find out who actually wore these jerseys? I have searched but haven't been able to find any documentation of jersey number or pictures of the USA teams. I appreciate any help.

This came up a month or two ago when Hunt Auctions had a large number of Team USA jerseys.

You'll see many of my comments, I have 26 Team USA jerseys and I guess I’m somewhat the resident Team USA expert. At quick glance these jerseys date to 2003 & 04 and are from the 18-U or 16-U squads. Info for these teams is almost impossible to find. Linking one of these with a high level of confidence to the player listed is almost impossible. Even with a roster or photo the jersey styles are indistinguishable from year to year with the exception of the Richard Case memorial patch from 2003. Do I think these are game worn, yes, do I think these are overpriced, also yes.

I had the seller bookmarked because I was told he had a couple Daniel Bard jersey's....Thank got I never shelled out the 250 he was asking...I gather someone did though as they did sell.

I don't want to imply that these jerseys are bogus but unlike MLB jerseys with year tagging, multiple sources of photos, etc. there would be almost no way to confirm.

There was a Lastings Milledge Team USA jersey in a recent auction that was easily 2 sizes too big for Milledge. No way in hell he wore it, unless it was as a nightshirt.

The seller is Razor the card company. I believe these jersey were purchased in bulk from team USA. The original plan was to cut these jerseys up and use in future card sets. They have some exclusive type deals with some younger prospects from recent Team USA teams. For autographs and producing cards of them. They were to come out with a high end Exquisite type prospect card set and use these jerseys on game used cards. But the set never was made so they must have just decided to sell them in as full game used jerseys.

I wonder how many jerseys the players were issued because the only question I have is this; I bought the Valaika 2004 USA white jersey off the seller but I have a card of his that Upperdeck produced showing a white #11 jersey they they used to cut up the pieces. If players were issued at least 2 jerseys then that is fine and legit to me.

If they were only issued one, then Upperdeck or Razor has some explaining to do.
