San Fran Giants Jersey Help

Hey Guys Grey Flannel has a Shinjo jersey listed on the auction that I am interested in. But I am not sure how tell this jersey is from 2002 and not another season. I know no one wore #5 in 2000 or 2001 and Ray Durham wore #5 in 2003-2006. So its most likely a Shinjo jersey as Durham was smaller. At 5'-8" 170 pounds a size 46 maybe to big for Durham???? Shinjo is listed at 6'-1" 185 pounds so would a 46 be more his size????

You might also want to see if the jersey has the Purchased From The San Francisco Giants stamp.

1) in 2003, they wore the bobby bonds memorial patch after 8/23.

2) the jersey is made by russell so it must be pre-2005 as majestic took over in 2005.

your only options are 2002, 2003, or 2004. if it was worn in '03 and lacks the BB memorial, then it would've had to have left the team prior to 8/23.

it could be a 2002 shinjo or a 2004 durham. ask GFC how they determined it was shinjos' and not durhams'. maybe TJ will ban you simply for asking.

i don't even know how much sense size makes anymore given that some of the smaller guys wear their jerseys like pyjamas. it's not like the 70s or 80s where they were worn tightly so jersey size actually had some relation to player size. you've got manny ramirez wearing a larger jersey than cecil fielder used to back in the day even though cecil outweighed manny by 100lbs.
