Why the heck is Parcel Post so slow? I still have not received a bat that was dropped on at the Post Office on March 25th. The deliver confirmation has not been updated since it was dropped off as well.

Mail lady says around 10 days for delivery. USPS.com says five days.

What has your experience been????

Unfortunately when it comes to parcel post, it gets there when it gets there. In most cases Parcel post usually takes 3 to 4 days. But I have had experiences where it has taken longer and once it took 2 weeks.

My wife always gets antsy when her parents in California send her a package, as she's expecting it in 2-3 days, and it usually takes 7-10 days to get here. Of course, they always send the packages Parcel Post. A lot may have to do with the Post Offices involved. Here in Berwyn we've got a fantastic crew from top to bottom. On the other hand, when we lived near Wrigley Field in the mid-1990s (one of the worst delivery areas in the nation), a Priority Mail flat from Texas took 2 weeks to get to us, and a similar mailing from the northwest suburbs took 5 days.

The post office would get it there faster, except that the employees are busy reloading. :)

I just had an item show up today that was shipped on the 21st! Way longer than I was expecting.

I received my Willy Aybar bat today. Only took 12 days . Mailed on March 25th, received April 6th.
