Hello all! Went to Fanfest today. It was great for autographs - the entire team signed prior to the exhibition game. I got about 12 autos including Matsui, Oswalt, Pence, Bourn, Tejada, and others. They held the typical auction of jerseys worn today. I picked up the Erstad jersey, which was totaling nasty and worn for many games this spring.

The Astros are starting something new this year, known as Astros Authentics. The Astros now have a full time historian and dedicated person to archiving momentos in the Astros Hall of Fame. The Astros Authentic store will sell bats, jerseys, helmets, baseballs, and line-up cards. All items will be MLB authenticated. To kick things off, the store had some 2007 BP jerseys, 2009 Spring bats, and former player helmets. I picked up a 2007 Berkman BP jersey (destroyed), 2007 Luke Scott Helmet, 2008 Lee Cleats.

The Astros also had some pinstripe and autographed BP jerseys for sale in the Garage Sale. I am looking forward to the Astros Authentics, as it will bring a nice selection of jerseys, helmets, and other team items that have typically been hard to come by. What's the cheapest you could buy any Game Used Astro's jersey for other than a BP Jersey at the Fest. Thanks.

The Astros Authentics only has 2007 BP/Spring jerseys at this time. The FanFest "Garage Sale" did have some 2008 pinstripes, begining at $100 up to $200 if I recall. The Astros authentics has the 2007 BP/Spring ranging from $150 to $350.
