I had Marty's game used home rookie Red Sox jersey at one time. My brother was his insurance agent in Las Vegas, where Marty lives, and told Marty I had his rookie jersey. Marty said: No way, I have all my jerseys, blah, blah, blah. So I sold it to my brother and my brother shows it to him and he said Marty can't believe it: Yea, that's mine. Where'd you get? Etc. So my brother just gives it to him.

1981=he scores the winning run in the bottom of the 33rd inning in an International League game, the longest in pro history, as Pawtucket edges Rochester 3-2.
