"He's used six models from us.

P72, M110, M272, C243, J121 and the B370."

Brian, this was your reply to me. If you have the time, can you tell me the year and number of each bat ordered? If its going to be too time consuming, thats fine. Its not as important as the model #'s you graciously provided for me already.

Thanks again!
Tom

BMH I am curious with these roders of bats you shown here.

You shown in the records that he ordered 2 pink bats twice? I am understanding that correctly?

If so that would mean he would have for that season possibly 4 Pink Mothers Day bats floating out there whether Game Issued or Used?

Give me a while, I leave tonight for ST and that was a lot of typing. I can't copy and paste out of our system.

11/29/04 M125 M272 NONE 34.5 IN 35.0 OZ B 2 EA

Hi Chris,
Are you referring to the NONE? I am pretty sure the NONE means no finish.

I was refering to the weight and length

I haven't seen too many bats that are heavier than they are long even if it is only .5 ounces

Since the order is dated 11/29/04 and a totally different model than what he's ever ordered my GUESS would be it's a training bat...

Brian,
I cant tell you how grateful I am for this information. Its way more than I expected. I wish there was something I could do for you in return. I do a lot of football related stuff with the Steelers. If you ever need anything, give me a holler.
Tom

Another question:
Whats the difference between a C243 and a C243C? In the finish type, whats "WALK" and "SMITHB" refer to?

Thanks again,
Tom

I have a Garko M9 M272. I didnt see that on the list. Am I just not understanding how these models are listed? I got so excited to see all these replies...I should have combined all of these posts.

Tom,
I think you missed this entry:
11/29/04 M125 M272 NONE 34.5 IN 35.0 OZ B 2 EA

The last "C" in C243C means the end is cupped.

"WALK" and "SMITHB" are finishes. There is a picture in both the latest Malta book and The Crack of the Bat book that shows the different types of finishes. My understanding is a Walker finish is a natural handle with a hickory barrel and a Smith finish is a black finish that has been dipped in urethane several times. I'll see if I can find some pics for you.
