Looking through my stuff a few days ago I found 3 items
1.An ALCS Game 4 ball from Yankees/Mariners 2000
2.Another ALCS ball from Yankees/Mariners signed by Paul O'Neill
3.World Series 2000 Game 5 game used 2nd base
Anyone else have items that date this far back?

I have a ball from 1973 No Hitter game Phil Neikro threw. My father grew up with Phil and Joe and kept in touch with them over the years. My dad once told them "If one of you guys ever throw a no hitter, I'll give you 5 bucks for a ball." This was in 1963 when my father was 16 and they were shooting the bull. Years later, my dad met up with Phil and asked about the no hitter. Phil remembered and said "I got a ball if you've got the five!" Of course he didnt take the money but the ball wentr to my father and is now mine.

I asked my father years back when he first gave me the ball to have Phil write something that said that the ball did come from his no hitter in '73 against the Padres. On the ball itself is written "8-5-73 No Hitter vs SD" and that, with the letter that Phil wrote saying where the ball came from, was all authenticated and the ball encapsulated.
