Hi Forum,

Can someone help me date/month/year this stub. On the front of the stub I can make out the month June. Yankee fans experts can figure out this out. A upper grandstand/General Admission seats for $2.50. Here is a picture of the front and back of the stub.

Thanks. B.F.

Not that this helps much but I did some research and I didn't go too deep but from what I found.

This ticket would be dated sometime between the 50's to possibly late 60's and maybe even up to 72

Likely a 72 or 73 - they also used similar looking tickets while at Shea, but obviously those say Shea Stadium near the top. Hard to date the game, though, because the large "M" is where the game number would usually be. So I'm not sure that you'll be able to pin it to a specific game.

Hi,
I am sure there are plenty of Yankees fans in here that can tell me what year this is from. What gives it away is the price. I am thinking 1976 or 1977. Not sure. I have posted pictures of it front and back.

I am sure there are NY Yankees fans on this forum that can help me with the year. The ticket price will give it away. I say around 1976 or 1977. Don't know. Anyone that has a Yankees yearbook can tell me about the price. Thanks. B.F.

Hi,
I am sure Yankees fans saw this ticket stub. Ineed the year and the date match the stub. I say around 1977 not sure. The June month is already stamped on it. Still trying to figure out what the "M' on the stub means. On the stub near the New York Yankees logo is some black writing on it. Just like the June stamped. I am thinking this could of been the date or game time. B.F.

Here's a link to an auction for what looks to be the exact type of stub you have there, same admission price and stampings. I guess they are dating it by what is handwritten on it, to 1977.

I dont think it says June on the stamp.

If you turn the photo 180 degrees I read it to say $1.00 discount.
