Bridgeport Jets of the Atlantic Coast Football League

Hello all, I know this is a real longshot but if anyone has or knows someone who has any information, pictures, items, anecdotes, etc... regarding the Bridgeport Jets of the old Atlantic Coast Football League and can provide me with any type of lead it would be greatly appreciated. I have thoroughly scoured the internet and am aware of the limited web sites that provide info on the team. Happy collecting and many thanks in advance!

P.S. attached is a scan of my only Bridgeport Jets item, a program from the ACFL's final season. The ACFL served, for a time, as a farm league for NFL and AFL teams...the Bridgeport team being the Jets affiliate

If you go to Baseball Newspaper Archive, type in "Bridgeport Jets" in the search box, you will get alot of newspaper articles about the Jets and the ACFL from the Bridgeport Post.

cool 1968 nyj photo of ray hayes (73) sitting next to christy and hudson - hayes is sporting a bridgeport (hi-ho) jets helmet, from the acfl. the jets drafted hayes in 1968 and he only played one year of nfl football - perhaps he started the season with the bridgeport jets and was called up by the nyj during the course of the year, and brought his hi-ho helmet with him... whatever the case, it would be a cool collectible!

I just got hold of 4 Bridgeport Jets ACFL football Programs from 1968 thru 1970. Let me know if you are interested
