I just wanted to worn the forum members that the following jersey is not a legit game used bonds Jersey. The tagging is completely wrong, No Bonds Authenticated patch. I would hate to see anybody waste their money.

I'm not an autograph expert, but the signatures look off to me.

What's wrong with the tag? According to this it looks like the right tag:

Signature is ok.

1.) No Bonds authenticated patch
2.) Giants did not have a year tag on all 2000 jerseys
3.) wrong size for 2000 Bonds gamers.

Other than that!

I emailed the seller about my concerns, He blew me off. Basically said 2000 this was how the jerseys were tagged.

Below is an authentic game used bonds 2000 jersey.

Keep in mind 2001 Bonds gamers are a different size and the tagging is a little different than the 2000's

So, what's the main giveaway that this one's real? The misspelling of the word "authenticated" on the Bonds patch? :D

The example, I had. Has the correct tagging, patch, and size.

While everyone seems to be locked on the tagging, you may want to check out the construction of the letters and numbers. Also, there seems to be something missing below the patch.

Lon, as a Giants expert what is your take on the 2001 Bonds so called HR Jerseys. NO tagging, wrong sizes, no use, wrong size numbers in some cases. Any input?

Bondsgloves, My take on the jerseys you mentioned would be the same as yours, Mike Quicks ect. I feel that most if not all were mass produced. I seem to recall that there was an instance a few years back that there were 2 from the same HR being auctioned at the same time from 2 different auction sources.
