I believe this bat is a promotional bat that someone stamped MAC25 model and batch code on. The end of the knob is not finished, sanded down like a professional bat should be. And the MAC25 model did not exist then. The stamping is wrong as well. I contacted the seller and had him list photos of the knob.

That doesn't even look like Mac's handwriting. The #25 looks off and not how I've seen true Mac #25's on nobs look.

Carlie:

I don't know how to post pictures on here but you hit the nail on the head. I just reference McGwire.com for bat info and that number #25 on ebay doesn't match up in my opinion.

When typing a message on here above you should see a paper clip above just click on it.Another screen will come up hit browse and it will take you through to find your pic on your computer...

IMO The bat is appears be from the 87-89 based on the labeling on the bat... I really cant tell for sure exactly what the knob says. But again IMO the 25 is not what Ive seen....

Aaron if you have some pics,Please share so we all can learn. If your having some problems posting them email me and Ill post them for you..

Looks like someone used a tool & die set to stamp the knob. They shoulda did their homework & got the spacing correct. Should be a 256B model I believe. How about the fresh #25 on the knob? According to the seller, "you won`t find a nicer Bat"

Looks like someone posted my knob Picture on here, & the #25. If not, it`s nearly identical to mine. Run, don`t walk...
