I just read that Randy Neimann (former 86 Met pitcher) was named the 2009 Mets third base coach.

This has to be THE first time that an ex-pitcher was named as third base coach. ( or is it?).

Interesting choice in my opinion.

Too strange to be true. Randy is the bullpen coach. Razor Shines is the 3rd base coach (make more sense)
