a store is going out of business and selling everything. i bought this unit to see how it would work for me. it was a bit long for me at 93 plus inches, so i cut it to have two units side by side, not to mention it is easier to move around now in 2 smaller pieces.
this will work for me as it will be put on the wall above a book shelf. it now measures 46 1/4 x 48 1/2. it is a maple finish with extruded aluminum inserts which will last forever. hooks can be bought on ebay in various styles and lengths.
i could possibly get a few more and modify them like this if anyone is interested. i don't know what shipping would be as i haven't weighed them, but they are heavy. :)
