      Hi RD -

Here is a link to the Old Hickory catalogue and site.

Established in 1999, starting in a one car garage, Old Hickory Bat Company has become one of the top baseball bat manufacturers in the world.

Hopefully there is some labeling information on the site somewhere. The company, established in 1999, has an interesting marketing slogan:

"No, I'm not on steroids -- It's the bat !"

      Good luck.

      Mike

Old Hickory changed their labeling prior to the 2005 MLB season.

        2004

Notice that "Old Hickory" is written in sold black and the diamond behind Old Hickory is not filled in.

        2005

Old Hickory changes not only their font, but their logo as well. The diamond in the logo changes to solid black, while the "Old Hickory" lettering is not filled in.

        Hope this helps!

        -AJ

AJ ,Thanks for the info and scans. One of the problems I have now is that I have a bat of Derrek Lee from 2005 and the label i not filled in but the font of the lettering is 1" high and the label itself spans 3 1/2"'s.I have another bat of garrett Atkins and thats from 2004 and the label is only 3"'s long and the font lettering is 3/4"s high. So I guess they have changed their style more than once the only differnce other than that is,the Lee is a black bat and the Atkins is a natural wood finish. What do you think Thanks again Ray D
