Anyone going to this: http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/bos/ticketing/christmas_form.jsp

I'd give my left nut to be there :(

Thanks,
Roger

I guess they need the money to compete against the yankees and to add 5 more seats to their tiny tin can that they call fenway.

Much thanks for posting that Roger, we'll see if I get picked at random for admission...

This is supposed to be the first "yard sale" they've ever had... I'd love to get a pair of seats  If anyone want's to "help a brother out" it would be much appreciated...

Wonder what happened to the Steiner relationship with the Red Sox?

Stuff is not moving at Steiner marked up prices so the Sox are cutting out the middle man?

I was selected to attend this event. My time to show up is 2:00. Hopefully they will stagger the items put out for sale to give all attendees an opportunity at different items. i'll let the board know how things go Sunday night.

I did not get selected to go, so I'm bummed. Kellsox, curious to hear what they've got for sale and prices when you return (and if you want to part with a Fenway brick, drop me a note). ;)

I just got back from this. They extended the sale for today until 7 PM- anyone can go. For bats, they range from $175 to $25. Not much left in terms of selection. Various teams. Most were cracked, and anything authenticated was over $100 for pretty common players. I grabbed a hammered unauthenticated Jolbert Cabrera Sam Bat for $25. Inside the top of the barrel reads "34, 31 OZ, 7.13.04, JRI 5321." Any ideas on what the JRI 5321 is??
As for jerseys, there are literally hundreds of them in two huge boxes, in white plastic bags that you can't see through. $75 for each. they claim there is everything from Ortiiz to batboys, to blanks. I didn't take a chance on those. I'm`happy with my cheap hammered bat :)

Oh yeah almost forgot- $30 got you a bag with a couple of fenway bricks, and there were huge bins of programs and tons of promotional crap you could fill your bag with. They were selling all kinds of junk that some people would be into I guess...

Hi, were there any bats from red sox common players like kotsay, Ross or Cash?

When I got there, there were mostly bats of mid level guys like Ellis Burks, Kevin Millar, Willie Mo Pena, Sean Casey etc... these bats were in the $175 - $75 range (depending if they were authenticated). I grabbed one of theyonly $25 bats that was complete. Most of the cheap ones were just half of a bat of an unknown player...

Did it look like these bats were selling out? I was thinking about calling up there to see what was left over.

Thanks for the reports.

There were maybe about 15-20 left by the time I got there (Monday around 12:30) Pretty slim pickings at that point. I'm not sure what the selection was like the day before though...

Did anyone who attended the Fenway yard sale, see any bats or jerseys of George Kottaras #68?
