The below ebay auctions were for the exact Manny Ramirez signed bat, won by the same bidder on separate dates.

Somethings fishy about the seller and bidder!

What is really fishy is both the buyer and the seller left each other positive feedback when it appears the transaction was never completed. But then again, maybe the seller has more than one of the same Manny and Ortiz bat.

Interesting! Unless I missed something, he used the same scans representing different bats - if what he says is true? Usually, sellers disclose if the item they are selling is different than the picture. I could be mistaken on this, but nevertheless, interesting.

I mean it is possible he used the same scans for the bats i mean its not the worst thing in the world to use the same scan as long as the bats and the autographs are similar to each other.

I sell tons of items and it does get to be a pain in the butt to sit and wait for each picture to load, some times i will list the same pic as long as i am selling the same exact item, i usually dont list the same if its an autograph but for other items i have.

i agree its not a good practice!!!

But i do sympathize becuz when your listing a lot of items and depending on the speed of your computer it does become a pain in the butt to sit there and wait for the picture to download to ebay.

If the autographg looks the same and the autograph is in the same spot and he bat is in the same condition its not terrible.

I used to have a few hundred Joe Frazier autographed 8x10s. I would list them, and in the description I would state: "Photo shown below is an example of the photo the high bidder will receive. The image will be the same but the signature may not be identical."

No one ever complained.

Now, an acceptable practice because you disclosed what you were doing!
