got an email from Bucs equipment Manager

I emailed the bcus equipment manager asking if he could check out an items validity for me and he wrote this response. I guess it was nice he at least sent the email...


I make it a point not to get involved in this type of stuff…In my opinion it wouldn’t look real good for an equipment manager to be in the memorabilia game.

I get calls about this stuff occasionally and never return them, and I don’t want word to get out that I am the one to ask, because then it will take time away from the job that my employers hired me to do.

It's usually when they're unemployed by the team when they become involved with the "memorabilia game". Or, if they're required to sign on official team COA's for exclusive contracts; i.e. game exclusives.

Yea, at least he took the time to write you back a short note. Most simply ignore any request pertaining to memorabilia.
