Historic Auctions Manny and Charlie Sheen GU

Historic seems to have a few items I am having trouble vetting. Maybe the group can help.

First, we have these "2008 Game Used Cleats"

The description says that "These Reebok cleats were used by Ramirez in the 2008 season. This is only one of a few pairs Ramirez wore." They seem like well-used Reebok cleats, yet I am unable to find Manny wearing anything but Nike from ST to playoffs. Even his warmups (usually white) are Nike. Anyone got any ideas? Previous season?


Next is a beautiful Manny "2008 Game Used Glove"

According to the listing "Ramirez used this as his main glove the entire year into the playoffs and eventually the World Series." Sounds great, but all the photos I can find show a different color scheme glove through the year and in the series. Anyone got a style match for this one?

There is one item that adds some levity to the auction. Check out this Norm Cash bat that Charlie Sheen trashed during a fight with his girlfriend (strange he needed a bat to fight a girl):

Sheen consigned much of his collection to Lelands, including the bat, so the Sheen provenance and abuse is accurate. He also consigned some rare baseball add signs, one with damage from Sheen thrown Vodka bottle. Sheen owned a high end vintage baseball memorabilia collection (including the infamous 1986 WS Mookie Wilson ball), plus original Warhol paintings, etc.

almost all of the photos of ramirez playing in 2007 show the same red glove with blue webbing, from spring training to the world series. there are a couple photos of ramirez using a tan wilson glove during warmups/BP. during actual games though, ramirez seems to have used the same red glove with blue webbing. the historic glove has red webbing. these are the only 2 photos i could find that are a style match. historic may have a very liberal interpretation of "world serires game used". do warmups count as "game use"? certainly the historic description is completely incorrect when it lists that red-webbing glove as "his main glove". the photo evidence seems to indicate that at best it was a scantily used backup whose entire use may have been in warmups/BP.

Cleats could not be from the 08 season as Manny was under contract with Nike during 2008.

He also never wore that style ever in prior years so who knows where they were sourced from. Same thing with the SAM bat in the auction with the use on the wrong side of the barrel.
