longoria & soto ROY

I will be sending game used bats to soto and longoria this week and wanted them to inscribe 2008 R.O.Y and game used 2008 on the bat. This may be a silly thread but do you suggest I do the signature then game used 2008 or 2008 R.O.Y first?

Basically which one should come underneath the signature

Everyone has a different opinion on this, but I am starting to lean away from inscriptions. 2008 Game Used is cool, because it says when it was used. Awards and Stats from a year, I try to avoid. For example if Longoria goes on and has multiple MVP years, I just don't care for that ROY inscription on a bat.

It has to go to personal preference though, but if it was me I would just stick with 2008 Game Used if you have to have an inscription. The more writing on a bat, seems to take away from the Game Used qualities.

thats a good point maybe I will stay away from the inscriptions. But the game used 08 looks so nice on a bat lol

a perfect example of more writing taking away from the game used qualities is current AROD bats with paragraphs of inscription all over them. I think they are look terrible. Just give me a plain game used bat with maybe a small signature and im happy.

I always like to get a simple "Game Used" or "gamer" inscription if I get an item signed. Typically, I would limit longer inscriptions to special situations like a GU Homerun bat stating what homeruns, and other milestone items.

I will agree those Arod bats are starting to get a little ridiculous. Nice bat with a crisp signature looks good to me!

Looks like that bat may be getting shipped to a new location haha..... never saw Oakland in the mix to land Holliday.

The 'game used' inscription is good as the player is saying it's game used. It's essentially a COA on the bat.

Without an LOA or a COA from us, PCM Sports, Geovany will not be inscribing any items as game used. He can sign the item and put the ROY inscription on it, but he will not put game used on the items unless we can they have come directly from him or us.

There have bin more than a few Soto gamers, bats, cleats, and cathcers gear on eBay that have the GU inscription. They all look pretty good. All from respected sellers with no PCM LOA.:confused:

you all missed the point. He will not be putting on the game used inscription since just getting in the mail does not guarantee that it is game used. People have bought game used items from us and asked for them without holo and coa but they are already signed and inscribed.
