SAM BATS with & W/O Team names

Does anybody know why some Sam bats have the team name on them and same dont,from the same year??(2008) thank you

Louisville is the only company allowed to put team names on bats. All other companies were doing it without MLB permission and MLB probably stepped in and put a stop to it. I know there were numerous conversations about this within the bat manufacturing world.
