I'll check my Rice when I get home and I have most of the videos from 1989 & 1990...

I'd be shocked if this jersey was ever within 100 miles of Rice

I doesn't look like a game to me. It doesn't have a tag that has a size or code tag on it. The Wilson gamers from the late 80's-early 1990's had an alphabetical code on them that defined when the jersey was made.

I got a hockey game tonight Mvandor...if you go to the NFL thread you can see the Rice that I have from 91 and the Montana from 90...I actually have 8 videos from the 89 season sitting on my desk that I was planning on sending to RKGibson a month ago...sorry Roger

I'll stick one in here at work and see what Rice's jersey looked like that season and get back to ya

After looking at a video from 1989, the jerseys name & numbers were screened on, which I'm sure was manufactured by Russell...In 1990 Wilson made their jerseys and in 1991 the NFL Shield started in the collar...so the only thing possible is that it was worn in 1990

I can't tell if there is spandex on the sides or not...but I do have a Montana from this same season...I'll check the inside and see if it has the same interior tagging as the jersey up for auction and post later tonight

Mvandor....checked the inside of both the Montana and Rice that I have, and there is no interior tags in either jersey...

It sure appears to be a retail shirt to me
