Does this DiMaggio jersey doesn't look right?

In the newspaper the patch seems to be on the left sleeve and the one on auction is on the right sleeve.

Am I right?

Could this have been worn in a different year from the one in the pic?

Joe DiMaggio Cracker Jack All-Star Old Timers Day uniform c.1980s. Complete uniform issued to DiMaggio for use in the series of Cracker Jack All-Star games played during the 1980s. Includes white knit jersey with "American" across the chest and "DiMaggio" nameplate on the back above #5. Cracker Jack Classic logo appears on the right sleeve. The jersey retains its original Rawlings tagging on the tail front. Uniform also includes the matching pants with Rawlings logo on the outside and Rawlings tagging on the interior. Hat is also included along with socks and stirrups. The hat, jersey, and pants have all been signed by DiMaggio in blue sharpie. The Cracker Jack Old Timers series was very popular during its run as it included players of the highest caliber such as DiMaggio, Musial, Mantle, and Maris. You are correct. The patch location of the auction jersey is not the same as the one in the photo.

Interesting difference.
