Can someone tell me when MLB took control of league's Uniform contract. I know through at least up to the early nineties (maybe 90-91) teams negotiated and purchased their own jerseys. During the 70's and 80's, there were at least a dozen makers providiing jerssys to teams. Now, it seems one maker for all. How did that go over with the team when the decsion was made?
