Jim purchased the jersey from me.It was worn Game 3 of the NLDS Mets vs Dodgers.Tucker scored 1 run in that game .The victory advanced the Mets to the NLCS that season.Just wanted to vouche for the jersey if I had the money right now I would buy it back ...

DRCules01 - I didn't realize I bought this from you - thanks for your post - ifirocked - I always pull the Steiner tags off of my items and place them on the letter. Nothing infuriates me more than any sticker on any game used item - I always pull them off when I purchase items. Just my little quirk I guess......

I don't understand why Steiner only puts sticker holograms on jerseys when they could easily fall off and cause problems if they are sold and exchanged several times to different parties.

Very true; especially for pants. I have two pairs of Mets game worn pants and the Steiner holograms keep falling off and I have to put them back on. The MLB holograms didn't move, but the Steiner ones do.

good morning Jim,

could you please clarify if you meant you can't locate the hologram or the letter of authenticity from Steiner? thank you.

I would have pulled the hologram off and if it was still in one piece, it would have been placed on the letter. Since I can't find the letter ( will continue to look ), I am assuming the hologram is on there. Sometimes they tear completely when pulled off and I can't remember about this particular one. It has to be in the house somewhere and will continue to look in all my files.

I know many of you really like the holograms and letters so I understand - and that might be preventing some of you from pulling the trigger. Tucker is from my wife's home town and that's why I bought the jersey - also, didn't have a current Mets jersey in the collection at the time.........it's one of those items I have lost an attachment to - if it stays with me, that's no big deal either........

Thanks for everyone's interest and I will update if I can find the darn letter........
