Did anyone else notice the black Louisville Slugger Mike Lowell of the red Sox was swinging in their ALDS game against the Angels last night?

It looked like a black bat with Gold stamping?

I am trying to find a pic, but am having a bit of trouble...

has anyone seen a balck/gold LS before?

thanks

I noticed that gold labeled bat last night. Looks like a black bat with gold, Here's a photo.

I was surprised Lowell was using a ash bat. Seems he always has been using LS M9 in the past 2 seasons.

Those are pretty sweet. I noticed Daryle Ward of the Cubs using one tonight in NLDS game 3.

I was able to pick up a Mike Lowell signed bat with gold labeling, the finish is dark brown. I guess these were shipped to him for the ALDS series vs Angels, maybe BMH can chime in to let me know how many were made for Lowell.

Thanks, Bobby

Who got it signed? I don't get how somebody would think a black sharpie would make the autograph stick out on that

It was given to a Red Sox employee from Mike Lowell, I guess the only pen around at the time was a black sharpie, would look really sweet signed with gold or silver sharpie.
