I know Curtis played from 97 thru 99. if this was a 99 game used bat it would have the MLB logo am I correct? and if this was a 97 the center labeling's 125 would be positioned diffrently? so is it safe to assume this is a 98?

Correct. As long as there is no TPX logo on the back of the barrel.
