Hey guys, I apologize for posting two threas about Colts game-worn stuff. If you couldn't tell I'm an Indy fan. Anyway, this is a jersey I actually own. I bought it off of ebay after the Colts won the SB. The seller was an actual player for the college the Colts have training camp at, the name and info did check out. He said that Peyton gave the jersey to him in 2006 (even though the tagging is 2004). Here are the pics of the jersey...

I've compared it to pictures of Peyton from camp on the Colts website and the jersey's look exact compared to this one. But I am not familiar with practice jerseys. Is this the proper tagging for a Manning practice jersey? I know with gamers people will make knockoffs alot but do isn't the fact that the numbers are screen printed mean its more likely to be real (meaning you couldnt sew on the numbers). What do you guys think?

Thanks so much again.

I believe photo matching the holes in the numbers will be your best bet. I believe your story, but a Manning jersey will ALWAYS be more valuable with a photo match!

I'm guessing there are plenty of Manning practice photos around somewhere.

Here is the one and only picture I could find from the 2004 Colts Training camp.

I'm sorry the size is small and quality is low. But it looks like the holes in the numbers are almost identical, doesn't it?

Compare the center of the number eights. One set appears square, the other rectangular. Doesn't look like a match.

Sorry, I was comparing the front of one to the back of the other. Yes, the fronts do look very close, further if I recall correctly the actual Colts jerseys do use slightly different numerals on front and back, evident by comparing the center of the eights. Yours reflects that pattern.

That's good. I wish I could find more pics from Manning in 04 Training camp. Does anyone know if the (04-56) is the proper tag size? Seems like the jersey style is exact, and the numbers when comparing to that pick do look very close. Does this all add up to making the jersey the real deal? In all likelyhood anyway?
