Got an e mail from Steiner that I deleted so the other day so I may be a little off on prices, but balls are about $2500 and bases were $7500 each.

I wonder if they will only use one set of bases or multiple and change between innings.

I'm actually surprised by the $7,500 pricetag on the bases. For the final game ever at Yankee Stadium, it may seem pretty decent. It's better than the $50,000 3 base-set from Busch Stadium.

As for the amount of bases used, I'm sure the Yankees will grub collectors' money as usual and have maybe 1 set per out recorded.

With the number of investment bankers who will be in jail or unemployed by the time this game is played, Steiner and the Yankee$ may have to re-think those prices!
