I'd like to know in what year H&B started putting MADE IN U.S.A. in the center label. I know that 1921 is the generally accepted date. However, I also know that some sources say that it's as early as !916. Can someone please tell me if it's possible that 1916 is the real date. Are there any known 1916-20 bats with MADE IN U.S.A.? I'd appreciate your input. Thanks.

Hi. How would someone establish that the "Made in USA" center brand was used prior to 1921? Are you looking for a "Made in USA" bat with sidewriting that is dated between 1916 and 1920? That would be something. And who are the sources whom you mentioned? I suppose we could ask them for more info if we knew who they were.
